We used this format for the family Christmas card this year and are very, very happy with the outcome. Our photo was not perfect but the best we had with all the right people. In fact the CD technician kindly wrote to ask if we were sure we wanted to print it. We gritted our teeth and said yes. It worked out great. The semi-matte texture seemed to bring out the beauty in the photo...or maybe the CD technician helped. Whatever the means, the result was a card we were proud of and that drew lots of nice comments from all family and friends,

Cards are sturdy and of excellent quality. The color is slightly different than shown on screen (actual color is a bit darker burgundy) but the cards still look great. Envelopes are also of good quality not cheap paper.

I absolutely loved our holiday cards. I've used Cards Direct for many years, but our cards this year were my favorite. The "Season of Scarlet" is a fantastic card and looked picture-perfect with the photo we chose. Thanks, as always, for having a great inventory of products, as well as the best customer service. This red frame seemed just what I needed for my Christmas tree picture. I read the reviews & saw someone had trouble with the red being dark but it had been redone & she was then happy. So - I ordered. It came in dark brick red...almost brown. The words on the inside definately looked brown. Not what you would want for Christmas. I called & they happily replaced the cards & this time the frame was a very dark red with the words on the inside still looking brown. I called one more time & requested as close to Christmas red as possible. Service was very polite and easy to work with. I complained that the color also seemed to wash over & and have an effect on the picture. They were happy to try again. The third time the cards came in a dark Christmas red - but they forgot to redo the lettering inside. I'll live with these. I like the quality & the service and the ease of use but will be careful what I choose in the future. If you use this card call ahead & stress you want a definate red. Even my third set bears no resemblence to scarlet red.
