The colors were wrong on the printed message inside the card, and the quality of the printing on the outside of the card was just okay, bordering on bad. When we called the company, they were a little difficult to deal with and the guy on the other end of the phone got pretty impatient with me and was rude. I was simply trying to get it fixed. He finally calmed down and was able to talk rationally about what the problem was with our card and how to replace it. Our re-order showed up a couple weeks later, poorly packaged, but undamaged. It was just the cards, as the reprint didn't include new envelopes (the old ones were fine). The colors were right on the lettering, but the photo on the front was still marginal. I learned my lesson: A cell phone photo probably isn't your best bet on a card like this. Nevertheless, we continue to order from Cards Direct every year because their products overall are good, and the amount of creativity you can add to your custom made card is pretty good, all things considered. The online interface is good, too.
The online portal was simple and easy to use and it allowed us to quickly select a card, upload our design, and get the order placed.
We had a very specific idea about a Christmas card we wanted to design. After searching through all the providers of templates for photo cards, the only one we could find that gave the customer complete freedom of design was CardsDirect. It was possible to place wherever we wanted whatever photos or text Ihundreds of fonts available) we wished to use. We could also opt for envelopes with return addresses, etc. as well as card quality, size, fold, etc. But the biggest surprise of all was how quickly, after ordering, our order arrived...hardly more than 3 days! Christmas card worries are now over.
Ordering was easy enough. When the products arrived, they had "cardsdirect.com" marketing placements on the card. As expensive as the cards were, why would they not removed their website from our cards? I feel like I paid to market cardsdirect.com. Also our cards have remnants of other prints from other projects on our card. It's barely visible, but visible.

The process was so easy. Downloading a picture, editing, choosing style, text, fonts...everything very straight forward. Order arrived quickly and price was very fair. Will definitely do this again.
